A Color Story: Photo + Video App Reviews

The filters and editing options are cool, but the quality is terrible. Im a professional photographer so I thought, why not! Ill just try it out for fun. In the end of every photo, it leaves faint lines and the quality is just terrible. You can do the same thing on the in-app editor with Instagram, or Snapseed while keeping the original quality. Not worth the money.

Downloaded this app a few days ago and just now getting a chance to use it. Its not bad--I like it, I just have to get the hang of using it. Is it closing out of anyone else? I was editing a picture and it closed out and didnt save the edits!

Love the filters but the app crashes prior to saving my picture.

Great app with all the adjustment options I could hope for as well! I also love that I can save my edits to reuse...saves me so much time!

Easy to use, beautiful filters that dont look generic. Perfect for stunning photos that make it about the pictures, not about the over saturated filters iPhone has.

This app is perfect for editing photos Ive taken of my artwork and weavings. I struggle to get true whites while still keeping the bright and bold colors of my work and A Color Story has changed that!

I love this app! Definitely more grown up than the first ABM editing app. Great for bright and airy photos! Takes a little getting used to, but its all good.

Ive only used ColorStory for about 3 weeks, but I am very pleased with the results of this app. "Brighten" is my favorite setting option and "sharpen" definitely does its job. My only complaint is that you have to "ok" every setting change, which I forget to do sometimes, so I have to go back to make adjustments again and then "ok" to move on.

Well developed. Nice UI. My only suggestion for now is that you allow users to edit the presets they create as one would in Lightroom. Here I make a preset and Im stuck with every thing I did to make that preset, I cant remove any part of it. And some of the filters in the packs you have to buy are a little extreme and take away some of the quality of the photo. Color fog is my favorite part to the app.

So far Im liking it but dont care for the preset filters. I always customize.

This so easy to use while simultaneously making my photos look beautiful!!!! I have zero professional photo experience but feel like I would happily post my photos all over my house/social media with the use of these editing tools!

I am so happy. I searched for months looking for a photo editor (app or web based) that would make my colors pop and make my whites white. Instead, all I saw was filters that would layer moody colors over my photo or brightness/exposure settings that would just wash everything out. Color Story actually fixes the colors in your image to appear naturally brighter, which for us artists and designers, is a DREAM COME TRUE! The process is smooth, I love the features it has, and since downloading it, I have not touched another editing app. I cant believe its free.

I dont really Instagram or edit my photos, but this app is so awesome I cant help myself!!!! Love it!!!!
